Workshop "Beauty and psychology in photography".

Emotions in focus.

On February 14, 2026, Style & Dine Studio hosted a special workshop led by Estonian actor and fine art photographer Alexander Ivashkevich.

The workshop explored what happens beyond the frame - the inner state that allows a person to relax, connect with themselves and become truly present in front of the camera.

When trust replaces tension, it is not only the pose that changes. The gaze becomes more expressive, body language more natural, and the person in the photograph begins to reveal something genuine.

“My photo sessions are not simply about creating beautiful images. They are about meeting another person — and meeting yourself", says Alexander Ivashkevich.

For Alexander, photography is therefore not just about finding the right pose or creating an attractive image. It is about discovering a person’s character, emotion and authentic presence.

During the workshop, Alexander shared practical insights into:

  • the role of psychology in photography;
  • acting techniques for feeling more confident in front of the camera;
  • how to relax and appear natural in a photograph;
  • how to discover an authentic image rather than simply finding a successful pose.

The workshop offered participants a different perspective on photography — one where the most powerful image begins not with the camera, but with the person in front of it.
